Delores “Dee” Ann Hanson

ARLINGTON / SUN PRAIRIE – Delores “Dee” Ann Hanson, age 84, of Arlington, passed away on Monday, February 2, 2026, at Prairie Gardens, in Sun Prairie.

Dee was born on July 22, 1941, in Dane, Wisconsin, the daughter of Russell and Florence (Kopan) Hahn.  She was married to Allan “Moose” Hanson on June 21, 1969, at St. Peters Lutheran Church, in Arlington, WI. He preceded her in death in May 2024.  Dee had worked at Mr. G’s, in Arlington, as a bartender, and as a cashier, at Schultz Market, in De Forest. She enjoyed NASCAR, the Packers, and vacationing near Mercer, WI. She had great love for her family, especially her dogs.

She is survived by her brother and sisters-in-law, Wayne (Meg) Hanson and Mary Hanson Frame; nieces; nephews; other relatives; and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of over 55 years, Moose; and her father and mother-in-law, Herb and Emma Hanson.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, in Arlington, with the Rev. David Juhl officiating. Burial will be at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday at Poynette Hillside Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. on Saturday at the church.
