She was always there to care for the kids whenever needed, teaching them to bake, sew, needlepoint, knit, play checkers, caroms, dominoes, and so much more. She will always be remembered to her family and friends as a loving, hard-working woman.

Marlene is survived by her 5 daughters, Pam Seipel, Terry Bilkey (Mike), Patti Rouse (Jeff), Peggy Childs (Rick) and Jackie Shaw; 7 precious grandchildren, listed above; and 13 precious great grandchildren, Seth Anderson, Jack Anderson, Luke Anderson, Nisse Mae Rosholt, Haakon Rosholt, Thora Rosemary Rosholt, Bricelyn Bilkey, Kashton Bilkey, Mariah Anderson, Bella Lynn Schernecker, Kylie Rae Schernecker, Devan Paynter, and Jasir Snow. To My Girls:
Be not sorrowful that I am gone
And my earthly life is done.
Be not sad I passed away,
For in you, my children, I live each day.
There is a little of me in all of you,
In each new one I live anew.
So you see, I’ll never Be really gone
As long as there are Children to carry on.
I’ve had my share of love, sorrow and strife,
I have lived a full and fruitful life.
So do not mourn, and do not weep.
For I have earned this peaceful Sleep.
